McCartney Says Mythical Beatles Track Actually Exists

Monday, November 17, 2008

Paul McCartney has confirmed the existence of what many believed was a myth. A 14 minute track recorded by the Beatles back in 1967 that was never released. An improvised track created for an electronic music festival.

McCartney feels that the time has come to release the track. However, in the past the other band members had vetoed any decision to do so. He will need the blessing of the estates of the deceased members and that of Ringo Starr to release it.

The track, which was played once at the festival, includes distorted guitar, organ sounds, gargling as well as band members yelling the phrases, "Barcelona!" and "Are you alright?". It also consists of random playing of instruments.
